Picking the Commencement Speaker

As President of the Senior Class of 2008, I had the honor of leading Senior Class Council in picking the 2008 commencement speaker.  It was very important to us that the speaker be an fellow OU alumni as well as have had an interesting background in something students would find exciting.  Peter King fit into the equation perfectly.  Picking Peter King as the Commencement Speaker at Graduation

Another NEW OU Tradition

Vote ’08

Matt Lauer Interview

While interning at the Today Show my junior year in college I had the opportunity to meet a lot of news makers and gain an understanding of what it is like to work on a National News television show.  As many know Today Show Co-Host Matt Lauer is a fellow Bobcat.  While I was there I was given an opportunity to interview him on camera for www.palestra.net, a net website I was reporting for.  Below you can see the story as it appeared in Ohio Today. A Visit to the “Love Castle”

What better way to celebrate Valentines Day than with your favorite combo from White Castle?  A fast food restaurant that has a strong following from their “craver” customers, the company tries something different on February 14th.  The Castle turns into the “Love Castle,” taking reservations, serving customers at the table, and of course lots of valentines decorations.  While the economy continues to tumble, White Castle serves as a cheap and fast alternative to celebrate Valentines Day with those that you love!
